About Me
About the Designer, Eva Roark
Hello my name is Eva Roark. I am a student at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I am studying to get my Bachlelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
I am a hardworking and adaptable person who loves art and design. I love maximalism, kitch and camp, and eclecticism which sometimes is hard for designing. My goal is to be an Illustrator in design rather than doing branding or something like that but I do enjoy branding as it uses tactics of rules for your brand similar to what you would use for worldbuilding when maing rules for your word, which I love to do.
Some fun facts are that I love animals, especially my dog Pippa. I enjoy animation, and I like open world games with lots of lore and world building. I also enjoy creating my own worlds and characters in my free time. Another hobby I’ve picked up is learning the basics of HTML and CSS coding.
Some jobs I’d love to do that connect with Graphic Design are: free lance designer, apparel designer, or a video game storyboard artist.
Learning Design Since 2023
My journey into learning design started in 2023. I decided on graphic design because I enjoy being creative and exercising the creative side of me.
I started learning design at Minnesota State University Mankato. I enjoyed the program there and the teachers taught me well and I feel as though I had learned a lot there.
In the summer of 2023 I did an internship at W.A.Fisher. They were kind enough to show me how their shop works and give me an inside head start into how the industry> They also showed me how the print shop side of things work. I learned how to set up the printers and correct file sizing.
Now I am at the Universoty of Minnesota Duluth.. I am completing my degree here. I also enjoy the classes and staff. I am projected to complete my degree in the fall of 2025.

Why I Design
I as a creative want to exercise my creative side and work with other creatives and clients to help them create the illustrations they need to make their ideas come to life. I enjoy being creative and sharing my ideas with the world
Mission
My mission is to help people give life to their ideas they cannot do themselves. Their ideas deserve to be heard and illustration is often the quickest way to get ideas heard.
Vision
My vision is to see y work out and about and to have the people who commisioned those works to be pleased with the product.
